With a good example being when he destroys valuable glass figurines from a mantle in a playful way; probably in order to put the blame on someone else for his own ineptness. Although he does accept blame when he and his former girlfriend talk about the abortion that he failed to do correctly several years before, resulting in her inability to have children in future attempts. Nevertheless, they deem their screw-ups as minor compared to the millionaire husband, who gets condemned for just making some illegal business ventures, and for slapping his unfaithful conniving wife.So now we’ve got an immature woman involved, only caring about money, revenge, and participating in the two (yes two) affairs she’s involved with. And you will see Mr. Inept parking right in front of the house he wants to enter to commit murder, along with seeing him mosey to an entrance while security guards are patrolling the grounds.Lots more take place; which includes detectives: one of which is an old buddy of the inept writer, and who has a amazing deal of problems himself. That detective (Patrik Ersgard) was sort of okay. I did like the millionaire, Currie Graham. And if you can manage to gruel out Mr. inept writer’s disposition, you can actually see a decent story take place - WITH A FEW UNEXPECTED TURN OF EVENTS.

I’ve seen worse, and I say that because others didn’t keep me in my chair to see how much ridiculous will turn yet towards the end…The beginning is missing loads of things, like, to let us know the characters, nevertheless, that would be a detail, as they don’t grow, or we don’t get to know them even when the film comes to an end.This seems to be a mixture between ‘Ghost Ship’ and any title at random of the very bad videos based in Stephen King novels. Most of the character don’t hold it, because when you start to like them or dislike them, they change and that’s what happens with Ivan and Edgar’s characters, they seem to be selfish and isolated, but them they turn into the superheroes of the moment… incredible!!!! Silke, is an actress that was a revelation years ago, fresh, different, interesting even without the pretty face, but after years of no productivity, one would think that she was taken lessons of vocalisation… wrong!!! it’s very difficult , even for a Spaniard to understand what she is saying.Plot is silly, dialogues come like salty water in a river… and question: what’s a pregnant woman and a teenager(the one who drives the boat, that doesn’t say a word in the whole film), are doing in there?And trivia: the story happens during the night, but then, out of the blue, is midday!!!! Not at all recommendable, if you estimate your spare time, you better watch that favourite of yours all over again.

Arrncame La Vida
I read Angeles Mastreta’s book when it first came out and I just loved it. She’s written some more afterwards, but I never really liked them as I enjoyed “Arrancame la vida”. When I knew that a movie about this story was going to be done I read the book again, and to be honest I went to see the movie with the intention of reinforce that “stories are always better read in books, than depicted in videos”. Well I was wrong.To my agreeable surprise I enjoyed every minute of it, just as much as I did reading the book for the first time. You easily digest a witty yet sarcastic story, picturing a post revolutionary country society that grabs you from the very first second. All the charactersare very well pictured and the scenery is just perfect.Thank you for this kind of Mexican cinema: enjoyable, brilliant and proudly capable of the quality to be appreciated by any kind of audience of the world.
